CFA provided construction surveying to the City of Sparks, Nevada Government on Phase 3 of the North Truckee Drain Realignment project. The project cost $14.4 million in construction. It is the culmination of a 10-year, $45 million investment by the City of Sparks, Nevada Government aimed at reducing Truckee River flood impacts in portions of the Sparks industrial area.
Q&D Construction, Inc. was the general contractor on the project which includes over 3,000 feet of dual 14' x 10' parallel reinforced box culvert along with other associated storm drain improvements.
CFA employees took survey points of the drainage culvert to measure elevations and place stakes to mark the locations of the next few box sections per the design.
