The South Meadows PUD is located in the Southeast Truckee Meadows and encompasses portions of the Double Diamond, Flindt, Pecetti, and Dotta Ranches. The first two phases encompass 331 acres and the third phase covers an additional 669 acres, for a total of 1,000 acres. At build-out, the project will include several million square feet of nonresidential development and 4,550 residential units. CFA was responsible for agency approvals, master planning, PUD design standards, preliminary and final civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and on-going agency coordination. Initially, CFA worked for the Master Developer; however, as parcels were sold, CFA also worked for individual parcel developers such as Lockheed, Marriott and Dermody Properties. Over the years, minor amendments to the PUD have been necessary and CFA has handled most of those amendments for the Master Developer.
