Mapping Survey Technician

CFA, Inc. is a Northern Nevada Land Surveying, Civil Engineering and Land Use Planning firm that has been in business since 1981. We are seeking a skilled Mapping Survey Technician with a diverse skill set and knowledge of the industry. This position will assist in the preparation of maps, plats and exhibits including: records of survey, parcel maps, tract maps, reversion maps, boundary line adjustment maps, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, legal descriptions, exhibit maps and topographic surveys.

The ideal qualified candidate will have the following skills and experience

:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in land surveying working on a wide variety of projects, required.
  • Experience with AutoDesk AutoCAD computer assisted drafting software, with preference given to the candidate with prior Civil 3D experience.
  • Land Surveyor Intern certification, preferred.
  • College experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.
