Jake is a Land Survey Technician at CFA. Jake has two years of experience in Land Surveying. Most of his work has been in Boundary and Topographic mapping, along with preparing parcel maps,tract maps, record of surveys, and American Land Title Association (ALTA) survey plats. He is working on completing his Part 107 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Pilot Certification for drone flights as well as starting survey specific classes at Great Basin Institute (GBI). Jake graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Outdoor Adventure Leadership and Environmental Sciences from Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada. Jake has a knack for the outdoors and a competitive mindset which suits him well in this profession. When Jake isn’t in the office drafting maps or in the field working, you can find him rock climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, or hiking with his dog Storm.
