Robert O. LaRiviere, P.L.S.
President
Mr. LaRiviere is President of CFA, Inc. He is responsible for the firm’s overall operations, oversees all department directors, and ensures that high quality service is provided at all times to all clients. As a surveyor, his work over the last 30 years has focused on legal descriptions, boundary analyses and adjustments, topographic and parcel division maps, and ALTA surveys. He is proficient with computer-aided drafting software and hardware.

He is a graduate of Paul Smith’s College in New York with a degree in surveying and forestry. He is active in the Nevada Association of Land Surveyors, the Sparks Centennial Sunrise Rotary Group, and the Nevada Land Conservancy. He is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Nevada and California.

Michael J. Miller, P.L.S.
Director of Surveying
Mr. Miller joined CFA in 1998 and has over 30 years of professional survey and mapping experience. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the Treasurer of the corporation. As the Director of the Surveying Department, he is responsible for developing estimates and preparing proposals for survey and mapping projects, preparing easements and various types of recorded mapping, resolving boundary issues, and directing GPS planning operations. Mr. Miller also oversees quality control on all surveying and mapping projects. He is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in California and Nevada and a certified Nevada State Water Rights Surveyor. He is active in the Nevada Association of Land Surveyors. Mr. Miller received a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Photogrammetry from California State University, Fresno.

Kevin German, P.L.S.
Survey Project Manager
Mr. German has been with CFA for over 5 years and has his license as a Professional Land Surveyor in Nevada and California.  Kevin’s responsibilities include project management, scheduling of CFA's field survey crews, client coordination, interpreting design plans and calculations for construction staking.  Mr. German also prepares boundary line surveys, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, topographic mapping, aerial survey control, construction surveys, and other specialized surveys as required.
