Brita A. Tryggvi, AICP
President
Ms. Tryggvi is President of CFA, Inc. She is responsible for the firm's overall operations, oversees the Planning Department and the directors of the other departments, and ensures that high quality service is provided at all times to all clients. As a planner, her work over the past 28 years has focused on site planning, preparation and processing of development applications, client-agency-staff coordination, interaction with elected and appointed officials, and public presentations.

Ms. Tryggvi has a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Urban Planning from California State University, San Jose. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Her community involvement includes EDAWN where she is on the Board of Trustees, the Truckee Meadows Community College Foundation, the Executives' Association of Reno, the Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation, the Urban Land Institute, and the Truckee Donner Land Trust. She served for 14 years as a Planning Commissioner for the Town of Truckee.

Angela Fuss, AICP
Senior Planner
Ms. Fuss has over eight years of experience in the land use planning field. She joined CFA in 2004 and became an Associate in 2008. She has worked for the Truckee Meadows Regional Planning Agency, as well as the Carson City Community Development Department. Her experience has involved developing and maintaining statistical databases, performing geographic information systems analysis, evaluating and making recommendations to Planning Commissions and elected officials, serving as public relations liaison to local community and planning groups, and conducting investigations on land use and natural resources inventories.

Ms. Fuss has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno. Angela is active in Toastmasters, Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals Network, and the American Planning Association. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
