Daniel Kovach, RLA, CPESC

Senior Landscape Architect
As an Associate with CFA, Mr. Kovach is responsible for project management of landscape architectural projects including computer design, specification writing, and GIS work. He has experience in Reno since 1981 and has worked on parks, roadways, institutional, residential, commercial, and health care projects for public and private sector clients.

His community involvement includes the Washoe County Design Review Committee, which reviews the design features and aesthetics for selected projects in the unincorporated county. Mr. Kovach has been a guest lecturer and served on design juries for the Truckee Meadows Community College architectural program and is involved in a youth outdoor education and leadership development program. He obtained his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is a licensed landscape architect in Nevada and California. He is also a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, which demostrates knowledge of effective and economical methods of minimizing soil erosion and sediment transport due to land disturbing activities.
