Dale Doerr, ASLA

Director of Landscape Architecture &
Planning
As an Associate with the firm and the Director of
the Landscape Architecture and Planning Department, Mr. Doerr is responsible
for the development of master plans, site planning, and landscape design
plans. His background includes more than 25 years of city and regional
planning, urban renewal, subdivision design, park and recreation planning,
and landscape design, including planting and irrigation plans. Mr. Doerr
works with both public sector and private sector clients on a wide variety
of projects. Mr. Doerr was the Project Manager for several recently
completed projects, including regional sports complexes at both North
and South Valleys, the Terrace Sports Complex for the City of Reno,
and the I-580 Aesthetic Master Plan for NDOT.
Mr. Doerr received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
and Environmental Planning from Utah State University. His community
involvement includes jury participation for design classes at Truckee
Meadows Community College, an active member of the Reno Public Arts
Committee, and a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. As noted in the
awards section, Mr. Doerr has received numerous awards for his park
design from the Washoe County Design Review Committee, the Nevada Recreation
and Parks Society, and the ASLA Section of the Northern Nevada Chapter.
