Mike Miller Receives Surveyor of the Year Award
CFA’s Director of Surveying, Mike Miller, received the Nevada Surveyor of the Year Award at the joint conference held by the Nevada and California Land Surveyors Associations in March. Mike received this award as a result of his contributions to the Nevada Association of Land Surveyors (NALS). Mike has been a member for 25 years. He served as a Director for the past three years and previously served as President of the Lahontan Chapter. Mike has helped organize continuing education seminars for NALS and was one of the instructors in a recent seminar on resolving boundary issues encountered by land surveyors.
NALS is a non-profit organization of surveying professionals whose goal is to promote the common good and welfare of its members in their activities in the profession of Land Surveying, to promote and maintain the highest possible standards of professional ethics and practice, to promote professional uniformity, and to promote public awareness and trust in Professional Land Surveyors and their work.
