Pat Fritchel becomes a Certified Floodplain Manager.
Pat Fritchel has successfully completed the process and examination to become a Certified Floodplain Manager. The Association of State Floodplain Managers grants this certification only to those professionals who meet the requirements and complete a comprehensive examination on the programs and standards to reduce flood losses in the nation. Pat heads CFA’s group specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering.
Fritchel joined CFA in 1998 as Senior Project Manager. He has over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering, hydrology, and construction management fields. He is responsible for the management and design of projects in both the private and public sectors. His areas of expertise include stormwater hydrology, open channel hydraulics, water and sewer distribution design, site development, and roadway design. He is proficient with several hydrologic and water resource computer models.
